WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BLACK HOUSEHOLD SOAP AND BLACK COSMETIC SOAP?
There are two types of black soaps: the body black soap often used in hammams preparing the skin for the exfoliation of dead cells, and the household black soap which allows to maintain its interior and its garden.
Although similar, the difference in composition is mainly due to the quality of the oils used.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BLACK SOAP AND MARSEILLE SOAP?
The manufacture of black soap and olive Marseille soap is quite similar. Indeed, in both cases, it is necessary to mix olive pomace oil, coconut oil, salt, and an agent that allows the saponification of oils. It is this agent that constitutes the main difference between Marseille soap and black soap. Indeed, the soda makes the soap hard (as in Marseille soap) and the potash makes the soap soft (black soap).
The difference also lies in their use. It is true that Marseille soap is also suitable for cleaning the house, the laundry and for the toilet. On the other hand, black soap is either dedicated to body use or to household use.
