THE AUTHENTIC SOAP OF MARSEILLE
For more than 160 years, our master soap makers have been passing on a precious recipe: that of authentic Marseille soap. A little water, a little oil, a pinch of soda, a pinch of salt, and a lot of love. Michel reveals the secrets of Marseille soap.
Our Fer à Cheval soap factory embodies Marseille’s heritage because our history is also that of the region and its people.
We respect and perpetuate craftsmanship expertise that is passed down from generation to generation of master soap-makers. The recipe for authentic Marseille soap boiled in cauldrons is preciously guarded and remains unchanged to this day as it is so incredibly effective and gentle for the whole family.
We have kept the spirit of craftsmanship and work with passion and commitment to offer a Marseille soap of excellent quality that is as environmentally friendly as possible. Our soap does not contain any added preservatives, colourants, fragrances or animal fats.
" Notre savon n’est pas parfait, il est vivant. "
" Our soap is not perfect, it is living. "
It changes over time, depending on the seasons and the vegetable oils that we select. But in our eyes, it remains the same love story.
