Its virtues

Above all Marseille soap's characteristic feature is that it is 100 % natural, based on vegetable oils. The ancestral recipe of our Marseille soap allows it to have 72 % oils.

Environmentally friendly because it is biodegradable, it also has health benefits, especially for the skin. Due to its pH of 9.5 it doesn't cause irritation - on the contrary it is smooth and gentle.

Saponified in the traditional way, Marseille soap has the following well-known properties : dry, pure, no colourings, agents or additives, is perfectly suited to washing delicates, body linen (baby clothes for example).


Natural +: Due to the raw materials which make it up, Marseille soap is still the oldest natural product for hygiene. Traditional Marseille soap doesn't contain fragrances or colourants so the allergic risk associated with their use is inexistant.


Biodegradable +: The biodegradability of Marseille soap is fast and virtually total.


Economical +: Unlike its competitors, our Marseille soap has the characteristic of having been dried beforehand, which means it lasts longer (so it's not necessary to let it sit above the fireplace as our grandparents did). And as well as that it's cost is ridiculously low compared to all other hygiene products.


Gentle +: For skin as for clothes - the skin's exceptional tolerance for our Marseille soap has been widely recognised by the medical profession and is recommended for washing delicate clothes (silk, lace, baby clothes...) and for people with sensitive skin (infants, people with allergies...).
